Final paper submission
Information for Authors
The ENOC 2008 Proceedings containing full texts of the accepted papers will be published on CD-ROM.
Proceedings on CD-ROM and the Workshop program and abstracts volume will be distributed among the
registered participants at the Registration desk. In addition, the papers presented at the Conference
will be included into the Open Access Library of the IPACS (International Physics and Control Society)
on the website within a month after the meeting.
In a month after the meeting authors are free to submit an expanded version of the presented material
for journal publication elsewhere.
Preparation of final versions of the papers
The size of a paper should not exceed 10 two-column pages for oral and poster talks,
15 pages for plenary and invited talks.
The size of the paper file should not exceed 2 Mb, and PDF is the only format accepted.
The deadline for final paper submission is May 1, 2008.
At least one of the authors should be registered at the ENOC'08 no later than June 1, 2008,
see Registration page.
Submission of the final paper
The paper should be uploaded to our site as a PDF file via personal Virtual Office at
Submission Site: http://coms.physcon.ru. A hard copy is not needed. In the case of any problems
with preparation of the manuscript please contact the Steering Committee at enoc08@physcon.ru.
Papers should be prepared in double column format suitable for direct printing onto A4 page
(8.3in x 11.7in/210mm x 297mm), justified if possible, using Times Roman 10pt typeface.
The title should be followed by the authors' names, affiliations, addresses (including FAX and E-mail
address) and abstracts (60—100 words). Style and formatting of the final submission should follow
instructions for the preparation of an ENOC-2008
paper using LaTeX and MS Word here.
The site for electronic submission is open. To submit your paper go to http://coms.physcon.ru,
login with your PIN and password and follow instructions in your virtual office.
The submitted final version will replace the preliminary version in your virtual office.
Information for Speakers
English will be the official language of the Workshops. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
Multimedia projectors will be available in each room.
If you need other equipment (e.g. overhead projectors) please contact Organizers.
Allotted time for oral presentations:
- Plenary talk 45 minutes (including 5 min. for discussion)
- Invited talk 40 or 30 minutes (including 5 min. for discussion, will be specified in the preliminary program)
- Presentation at regular or invited session 20 minutes (including 5 min. for discussion).
Speakers are requested to contact the session chairman 15 minutes prior to the start
of their session to upload their presentations and to hand-in a brief curriculum vitae.
Posters at the poster sessions should be posted at least one hour before start of the session.
Vertically oriented space 600mm by 840mm will be provided for each paper.
